Barrie and Kids

From the very beginning, it was obvious that there was something different about this race.

The Kids of Steel series conducts extremely short course triathlons for children as young as six.

The bike ride looked like a tough event -- a little too much for people so little.

But the run was tackled with enthusiasm.

The Barrie race course wasn't excessively photogenic.

Not everyone's race ends at the finish line. The volunteer life guards assist those who need it.

Nearing the end of the 20K bike ride.
